Five Principles

Is your Home Energized?

by Karin Bauer

Since I was about 11 years old, I have been aware of the energy a house carries. I knew instinctively that a house wasn't "just" a house. A house to me was a physical dwelling for our souls to be nurtured and kept safe. I remember the house I lived in for seven years until I was eleven. I loved the attic and played there endlessly.  I loved the long hallway, the bathroom with the window facing the yard. I decorated my room with pictures of horses and posters of my favorite bands. When my parents told me the house was sold, I knew I had to say good-bye in a special way. I remember walking through the house, saying good-bye to every room. And outside, I hugged each of the four corners and said "thank you and farewell".

Another house that I loved very much but had to sell when I was an adult, I did similar things. I enhanced the rooms with special, intuitive artwork. I placed artwork and items carefully to enhance the house. I said good-by and released the home. I burned sage and sweet grass in the house to cleanse its energy. I sold the home with one week of doing that.

Artwork is very powerful. The careful placement of artwork can attract and enhance health, wealth, abundance, new friendships, love, success, and much more. The principles of enhancing energy in a home a similar to Feng Shui, the artful placement of objects and energy. Artwork itself has many powerful properties. The colors, movement, texture, size, location, light, brightness, and mood of the artwork all can evoke deep emotional (at times subconscious) responses in us.

Gazing at intuitive or spiritual artwork can be meditative, soothing, nurturing,  introspective, and calming. It can also be energy enhancing, uplifting, inspiring, and strengthening. Intuitive artwork can change as you change. You will continue to see and feel new things in it. People have reported that the artwork just keeps on giving to them. New directions emerge in career, relationships, business, or hobbies. Spiritual quests and journeys become center stage and take on direction. Emotions vibrate at new levels.

A key element to Karin's artwork is by turning the painting, glass art or art card to be viewed from various angles. This process helps to focus on new areas. New movement brings in a new perspective in life. Enjoy experimenting with the artwork and energize your home.
