| Hello Inspirit Readers !
Wow! I just have to share, I'm so inspired! I just returned from presenting an awesome
workshop to a wonderful group of people, registered clinical counsellors in Creston,
British Columbia. The workshop was a great experience and I received a lot of positive
feedback and praise for my presentation of the Art Guidance Cards and Inner Guidance Journal.
Since I published the Art Guidance Cards in February this year, I have been doing workshops
and presentations all over and I am so excited about the breakthroughs, insights and new
perspectives people are experiencing! I love presenting the Five Step Art Guidance Process
and watch how it creates new shifts in everyone. If you're curious to read more about the
Five Step Process, check out www.InspiritArt.com - click on "Technique".
I am certain you'll find reading about it an eye opening experience! I love receiving your letters and I'd like to share with you some feedback I received from
last month's edition:
"What an inspiring newsletter this month! I feel like I want to try finger/hand-painting, sounds like a great experience. It's definitely very uplifting to read your newsletters. You've also inspired me to re-read The Celestine Prophecies. Keep up the inspiring work! "

1) This month's painting: Healthy Boundaries

Quite possibly the most damaging form of artistic and creative loss
is criticism. I painted this piece a while ago and it struck me
when I finished: "Wow. Boundaries. That's what this is about".
We need them to stay healthy. We need them to create. As a young girl attending elementary school in Germany, I think it was
grade four, I had two teachers who left big marks on the blueprint of my soul.
They were two very different kind of teachers; one was giving, nurturing
and kind while the other was judgmental, critical and just plain scary. The
kind teacher was encouraging my attempts with learning, and encouraged me to
be bold when painting with brighter colors. The other teacher was hung up on
technique and mastering everything, controlling and criticizing. Both teachers left imprints on me which I will never forget. The interesting part is that even today,
as an adult I can still hear their voices in my mind. When I paint I am aware when
my kind teacher gently nudges me to courageously explore the process of creation.
When I go to show the art, I am sometimes aware of the possibility of criticism, due
to the judgments I had received from the scary teacher. However long ago this is,
the subconscious somehow remembers!
I have done a lot of clearing of those experiences, and fortunately, the negative experience
has no longer any power over me. As children we need to be protected - and as adults, we
need to develop boundaries to protect our own core from damage, harm, or energy drain.
Once I started seeing a visual picture through the painting "Healthy Boundaries" I realized
how radiant and precious the core of our souls is. Let's keep this core shining brightly, strong
and healthy!

5) Inspirational Quote:
"Quiet helps us find what we are passionate about. In that quiet,
ask what it is you should be doing. Service is spiritual work or, to some, work of reverence. First you have to uncover what it is that you have a
reverence for. What is it that you love. Evolve in that fashion. It may not
look like something that seems like large work. It may not look like something
grand or very important, but if you can do a good thing, a small good thing on a regular basis, and keep going, it will shine a light. It will draw other
light to you."
- John Calvi, "Quaker Healer", from Heron Dance
I would like to thank Helene Van Manen, my Coach Uinstructor for sending me
